About Us

Canine Education is a small, friendly, professional Dog Training School based in West Berkshire, covering Newbury, Thatcham, surrounding villages and North Hampshire.

Run by Caroline Clarke, Canine Education provides quality training for dogs and owners that is rewarding, enjoyable and free from harsh methods. We strive to improve your dogs behaviour or prevent problems, whilst maintaining your dogs individuality and personality.

We offer Outdoor Courses, Individual Private Tuition and Gundog Training.

Instructors Caroline and Richard have been rigorously assessed by The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and are registered with The Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC), which is a national register of appropriately qualified animal trainers and animal behaviourists.  All assistants are suitably experienced and trained extensively to ensure we all deliver high standards of training and advice our clients deserve.

Collectively, the Canine Education team not only offer many years and a wealth of experience and expertise in dog training and behaviour, but are involved in a network of fully qualified companion animal behaviourists who can help with cases such as dog to dog or dog to human aggression.

I would say that you have restored mine and Mike’s confidence in the ability of professional dog handlers to be normal friendly people with a sense of humour! We’d had bad experiences in the past with dog training for our first dog and had (possibly unfairly but a number of other people’s experiences mirrored our own) tarnished you all with the same brush. The whole experience was enjoyable and informative and just what we needed.
Thanks again
